Autumn Art in Brilliant Burgundy.

The leaves are falling, the sky is grey but don’t be blue.

Autumn is truly the season for rich, beautiful colour and fabulous Period Drama.

Today I’m feeling inspired by the shades of the season and amazing Art Deco.

Wearing this lush, vintage burgundy velvet, cape sleeve dress with embroidered detail, I feel wonderful. Just like a 1930s screen goddess.

Figure skimming in all the right places.

Beautiful waist detail, teamed and with simple pearls.

Added this stunning Edwardian, embroidered bag (borrowed from my good friend) to complete the look. Downton Abbey meets Ginger Rogers.

All I need now is a roaring fire and some port.

    • It is beautiful isn’t it. It’s about a size 10. I wore it to my mum’s birthday dinner last week and felt like a real lady (for once haha). Hope we will see you at Mary’s next fair on Oct 20th. I love reading your blog. What a fantastic set of friends you have too. Such stylish, individual gals. X
